Volcanic Ash Flight Disruption |
|
Welcome to our Volcanic Ash Flight Disruption page at eTravelDeals.
As at 17 April 2010 flight disruption from volcanic ash continues. The ash cloud, produced by the volcano beneath the Eyjafjallajokull glacier in Iceland, can damage the engines and windows of passenger jets. Unfortunately, the situation is getting worse, and the vast volcanic ash cloud which already covers much of Europe has spread as far East as Russia. If you cannot fly because of this, we list some booking sites for alternative forms of travel below. European coach travel is certainly an option worth exploring, whilst ferry services and the Eurostar may be difficult to secure places on because of the unprecedented demand.
Thanks for visiting our Volcanic Ash Flight Disruption page. We hope it helped find what you were looking for.
